Rental Fees

For rental rate purposes, organizations seeking the use of school facilities have been divided into three categories.  It shall be the decision of the Business Office to determine which rate schedule applies to any particular group.  The following serves as a guideline:

Schedule A:   School–related groups:

Includes those organizations whose main purpose is to promote the welfare of Bellingham School District students.  These groups have priority over other types of non-district users.  Examples are:  student groups, PTA, scouting groups, and school service clubs.  There is no charge for use by these groups other than custodial overtime where applicable.  Students must attend Bellingham Schools and adult sponsorship and supervision is required.

Schedule B:  Non-profit, community groups:

Includes groups who wish to use school facilities for lectures, promotional activities, political rallies, religious activities, recreational activities, entertainment, college courses, or other activities for which public halls or commercial facilities generally are rented.

All rates shown below are “per hour”
