Breakfast
Available daily for All students at all schools. Meets ¼ of a student’s daily nutritional requirements as outlined in the National School Breakfast Program. Full price breakfast: Elementary - $1.50; Middle/High School - $ 1.75, Breakfast is available at no cost to students who qualify for free or reduced meals.
Lunch
Available daily for All students at all schools. Meets 1/3 of a student’s daily nutritional requirements as outlined in the National School Lunch Program.
Full Price Lunch: Elementary- $2.75; Middle/High School- $3.00. Reduced price: 40 cents. Lunch is available at no cost to students who qualify for free meals.
Milk only: 50 cents
Computerized Point of Service
Meal payment is made through a computerized system call Zangle/Food Service. All students are assigned a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Money is deposited in student accounts. Accounts are automatically set up for students who qualify for free meals. These accounts show a “phantom” balance of $ 20.00. Students select meals and enter their PIN at the cashier. There is no overt identification of students qualifying for free and reduced meals.
La Carte
Individual food items are available for purchase at middle and high schools. Student meal accounts with positive balances may be used for a la carte purchases.
Menus
Menus are sent home monthly with Elementary students. Monthly menus are available at all middle and high schools.
