Highly Capable Learners Program
Elementary & Middle School Program :
- Each building principal has received their list of identified HCL students and has developed a building plan to meet the needs of their highly capable students. Please contact your building principal for details.
HCL Elementary Pull Out Program WINTER Schedule at Happy Valley:
Group A is made up of: All HCL students in 3rd grades and 4th grade HCL students from —Happy Valley, Parkview, Lowell, Larrabee, Geneva & Carl Cozier
- GROUP A will meet on January 11th, 25th, February 8th, March 1st and March 15th.
Group B is made up of: All HCL students in 5th grade and 4th grade HCL students from Columbia, Cordata, Wade King, Roosevelt, Sunnyland & Silver Beach

GROUP B will meet on January 18th, February 1st & 22nd, March 8th & THURSDAY, March 21st
(there is no school for students on March 22nd).
The Highly Capable Learners Program recognizes that all learning needs a foundation of basic skills, content, and learning strategies, and that students have different needs and learn at different rates. In order for a highly capable student to reach his/her potential, the program supports classroom differentiation strategies and offers a menu of short and long term classes as a supplement to the regular school program.
