The Parent Advisory Committee to the Superintendent (PACS) will host Schoolhouse Talks, a meeting for Bellingham Public Schools parents/guardians and parent organizations from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 in the Whatcom Middle School auditorium.

Bellingham Public Schools leaders and community partners recently surprised 19 individuals as 2013 Districtwide Promise Award recipients and are pleased to announce the honorees from our schools and central services.
05/10/2013 - Larrabee Elementary School Will Be Retired as a K-5
Following a thorough process of research, planning, discussion, reviewing data and information, and gathering extensive input throughout the 2012-13 school year, a decision has been made to retire Larrabee Elementary School for use as a K-5 elementary school in June 2014, June 2015 or June 2016. An exact date will be determined based on ongoing discussions about how Larrabee might be repurposed for another instructional program.
