Bellingham Public Schools is Hiring Bus Drivers; Interested Candidates Can Attend an Event on June 13

Thanks to local voters who supported our school bus levy in the election, we are seeking candidates for our bus driver training program.

We’re looking to train additional drivers to help us meet critical transportation needs and provide opportunities for field trips and other educational programs. Ideal candidates are adults (including parents and grandparents) who love working with children and are interested in part-time work.

Many of our drivers work as substitutes or in a temporary assignment because they enjoy the flexibility and variety.

Being a bus driver is a great opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life!

To learn more, you can attend an information and application event at 10 a.m. on June 13 at the district office at 1306 Dupont Street.

You can also fill out an application here or go to bellinghamschools.org (click on Jobs), or email kara.silsbee@bellinghamschools.org.

This could be the perfect job opportunity that fits your family’s schedule, adds income to your budget and places you on a highly valued and effective team supporting the students in our schools.

Please consider joining our growing team to care for and respect our students to help fulfill The Bellingham Promise.

We hope to see you on June 13.
