Bellingham Public Schools will host a Strengthening Families Program for all district families with youth 10 -14 years old on Tuesdays, April 10 to May 22, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Shuksan Middle School. Parents and youth meet in separate groups for the first hour and the program is designed to help families grow and learn together.
The Strengthening Families Program has made a difference for thousands of families. This program helps youth build skills to resist the peer pressure that leads to risky behaviors. Research shows that protective parenting improves family relationships and decreases the level of family conflict, contributing to lower levels of substance use.
Sign up today! Dinner is provided and childcare is available for siblings under 10 years old. Register by Monday, April 2 to secure your spot. To register, email email@example.com.
