Report Cards for Elementary and Middle Schools

A Message from the Department of Teaching and Learning

Our timeline for printing report cards has been delayed due to weather and snow closures.

Report cards will be coming home with elementary and middle school students the week of Feb. 20, however you can view online report cards on Skyward Family Access for middle school students as of Feb. 8 and for elementary school students starting Monday, Feb. 13.

Please be sure to look in backpacks or folders for this important information. In Bellingham Public Schools, we send report cards home two times a year. The purpose of the report card is to communicate with families on student progress toward learning standards. Please take time to review the report card with your child, to celebrate areas of strengths and growth, and to positively set goals for areas of need.

Helpful information can be found here, where you will find a family guide to the report card and Frequently Asked Questions. Here you can also find grade level learning standard documents that outline what we want students to know and be able to do by the end of each grade level.

As always, if you have questions or need clarification about your student’s progress and performance, please feel welcome to contact your child’s teacher or school principal.
