SchoolMessenger is a quick alert messaging service that the Bellingham School District and its schools use for emergencies, weather-related closures/delays, attendance and general communications such as important school announcements and e-news. SchoolMessenger enhances our ability to communicate regularly with parents and staff in multiple languages using phone calls, e-mail and text messaging. Bellingham Public Schools do not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by the user. Check with your cell phone provider for possible charges. Text messaging in SchoolMessenger is opt-in only.

How do I sign up for SchoolMessenger?
Parents and guardians need to log on to the SchoolMessenger Contact Manager , follow the instructions above, and select how they would like to be contacted (phone, e-mail and text message*). Parents should also review their contact information to ensure it is accurate. See instructions above. If you do not manage your preferences, you will receive some phone notifications, but only for one home phone number. E-mail (e-news) and text messages will not be included.
