Road Trip Through Washington

How can we plan ahead to protect life and property if Mt. Baker erupts?

Bellingham Schools Research Investigation

4th Grade

Evaluating Your Information

As a team, you have researched volcanic hazards, you have decided which hazard to address, and you have developed an idea for your Safety Plan. Now, open the Evaluating Information form and evaluate your work so far. Print it or save it in a drive where you will be able to access it later. Answer each question in the form.

If you have difficulty answering the questions, you may need to return to gathering more information. You may need to return to synthesizing to keep brainstorming safety plan ideas.

Before you develop your safety plan even further, look at the rubric for your final project. A level 3 meets the expectations for fourth graders. Make sure all of your team members understand the expectations. Set goals for your team. Will you aim for 3's? 4's?

Go to your teacher with evidence that you have completed steps above.
