Educational Technology provides leadership and direction for the effective implementation of educational technology services in Bellingham Public Schools, including library media centers and online learning.
Library Media Centers
Library Media Specialists at each of district’s schools coordinate the integration of information literacy and digital citizenship skills into instructional programs.
The Educational Technology office coordinates the development and implementation of online learning in the Bellingham Public Schools.
Computer and Network Services
Computer and Network Services personnel support students and staff in the use of technology resources. There are three integrated operating elements: the district data center, the Help Desk support team, and the network services support team.
The current technology levy was approved by voters in February 2016. This four year levy is effective January 2017; levy collections and related projects will occur through December 2020.
Bellingham Public Schools is committed to preparing students for a rapidly changing world. We realize that our students need guidance as they learn to be critical thinkers, respectful and compassionate humans, and honest citizens in digital spaces.
