Chef Patrick with students at lunchBellingham Public Schools serves approximately 12,000 students who attend one of our 22 schools comprised of four high schools, four middle schools and 14 elementary schools. In food services, we are a team dedicated to the Good Food Promise and Good Food Project. We are recruiting additional food services team members to help us meet critical needs in our school cafeterias.

As a substitute food services team member, you are eligible to apply for a permanent position. We hire our permanent staff from the substitute pool.

A food worker card is required to work in our Central Kitchen or in any of our school cafeterias. You can apply for this card online.

Training
