Emergency Substitute Teacher
Interested in substituting as a classroom teacher, but don’t have a teaching certificate? Consider applying to be an emergency substitute teacher. The district will assist all hired candidates in obtaining a Washington State Emergency Substitute Teaching Certificate and will provide training. For your application to be considered for review, you must have a bachelor’s degree, experience working with children and a willingness to work on an on-call basis. Certificated Full-Day $158
Classified hourly rate ranges from $18.24 to $26.95 depending on position.

To access Frontline, you will use your Frontline ID that you created when first hired into the substitute pool. When receiving the Frontline automated calls, your pin number is the last four digits for your phone number. If you’ve forgotten your pin or Frontline ID, please email Human Resources.
Please note that once you log onto Frontline you will have access to additional training documentation as well as the ability to watch short online training videos on your computer screen.
