Educational Technology and Libraries provides leadership and direction for the effective implementation of educational technology services in Bellingham Public Schools, including library media centers and online learning.
Library Media Centers
Library Media Specialists at each of district's schools coordinate the integration of information literacy and digital citizenship skills into instructional programs.
The Educational Technology office coordinates the development and implementation of online learning in the Bellingham School District.
Computer and Network Services
Computer and Network Services personnel support students and staff in the use of technology resources. There are three integrated operating elements: the District Data Center, the Help Desk support team, and the Network Services support team. Staff support more than 4,500 desktop and portable computers, 120 servers, and over 10,000 network user and email accounts, as well as numerous peripherals such as printers, interactive white boards, and projectors.
