Reminder: Input Needed on Proposal for School Start and End Times for Fall 2016

A Message from Superintendent Greg Baker

Dear Families and Community,

Just a reminder that during this first phase of input, you have until Monday, March 9 to complete our survey about adjusting start and end times in 2016 for all three levels (elementary, middle and high schools), adding 30 minutes to the secondary school day and other budget priorities.

At this point in time, more than 900 people have completed the survey, 700 people watched the video and dozens commented on my blog.

Wow! What a response – and as I mentioned, there’s still time to get us your initial feedback.

My team and I will be spending time reading through all of the comments and thinking about next steps. We hope to have an update by the end of this month.

Thank you for your thoughtful input on this very complex issue. I recognize that change often presents challenges, but we strive to do what is best for our students, families and staff in the long run.
