Sleep and School Start and End Times Blog

Dear Families,

I hope you’re adjusting to the end of Daylight Saving Time and our darker days. It can be a hard time of year for some folks, while others love “falling back” because it feels like we get an extra hour of sleep (at least for a few days).

This week felt like a good point in time to reflect and blog about students’ sleep and school schedules.

As always, I look forward to your feedback.

It’s also a good time of year to remember safety practices, whether your child walks, bikes, buses or drives to or from school.

Thanks, too, for your continued flexibility with our Staff Learning Days. Some of you may be meeting with your child’s teachers for parent/teacher conferences, which is an important part of family engagement and your child’s success in school.
