Blog About the New High School Schedule

A Message from Superintendent Greg Baker

Dear Families and Staff,

I hope everyone had a restful and fun Labor Day weekend!

I wanted to share some of the feedback I’m hearing and receiving from students, families and staff regarding our new high school schedule. For those parents who haven’t yet entered the world of having a high schooler, we worked over the past couple years to change our high school schedule so students can earn up to 32 graduation credits instead of 24. This allows a lot more room for electives because we believe the whole child is important. It’s called a 4×8 schedule because students have 8 classes, alternating with 4 of them meeting every other day.

Please check out my blog to review some of the early feedback coming in and add your own. I always appreciate hearing from our students, staff and families.

Thank you and have a great week,

Greg Baker
