Call for applications for High School Advisory Class Task Force

A Message from the Department of Teaching and Learning

High school staff, students and families may apply for consideration to serve on the High School Advisory Class Task Force. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29.

The purpose of this task force is to:

  • Make recommendations on how to improve the benefits and use of high school advisory class minutes for all high school students.
  • Establish a clear purpose for advisory class.
  • Make suggestions for improvement.

The group will meet from 3:45-5:30 p.m. on December 6, January 10 and 24, and February 7 at Bellingham High School. Applicants must be available for all four meetings.
