Student Club Challenge live event Monday, Jan. 13

A Message from the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation

Dear staff, families and community,

On Monday, Jan. 13, you are invited to an evening of inspiration and excitement at the first Student Club Challenge, sponsored by the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation. Seven high school student club finalists (out of a pool of 32 semi-finalists) will compete for grants totaling $10,000. Each club will give a live presentation. Imagine the ingenuity of “Shark Tank” coupled with the excitement of “America’s Got Talent!”

Every audience member will get to vote on their favorite student club project so come join the fun from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Jan. 13, 2020 in Bellingham High School’s Performing Arts Center.

The top finalists at the live event are:

Colors of the Rainbow Conference — Queer Straight Alliance, SQHS
Lights! Camera! Action! — Film Making Club, BHS
Teens Empowering Teens Summer Camp — Girl Up to Embody Love, BHS
Hamsters Gnaw Nationals 2020  — Debate Team, BHS/SHS/SQHS/OHS
Walk around the World  — United Diversity, SQHS
Lost No More: Signs for the Community — Engineering Club, BHS
Food for Families @ Ronald McDonald House — Lemon Club, SQHS
