Two exciting grant opportunities! A Message from the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation

A Message from the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation

Dear families and community,

We love the energy and excitement of September and the promise that a new school year brings!

This year, the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation is especially excited to share with you two opportunities we have in the works right now.

Our annual competitive grant program will open in early October with more than $50,000 available to help make classroom and school BIG ideas come true. The Foundation’s grant program connects staff and students to the resources required for outstanding public schools. We look forward to the great ideas coming in from all corners of the district. (See photo below for one of the many BIG Idea grants given out last year.)

We also have a new $10,000 grant award available to expand student access to music and the arts. The Foundation believes the arts play an important role in igniting passion, inspiring curiosity and deepening connections to each other. We are excited to see the possibilities that come from this new grant.

The Foundation connects the community, businesses and parents who share in the vision of The Bellingham Promise. Together, we provide the additional resources required for outstanding public schools – transforming education through generosity.
