6957 Policy – Construction Change Orders

In order to expedite change orders on construction contracts in Bellingham Public School Districts, the board has determined that for change orders where the amount involved is 5% or less of the total project cost, but not in excess of $250,000, such change orders may be approved by the superintendent or their designee. Payment may then be made through the business office.
